The Honda CR-Z is hybrid with a six speed manual. While not a turbo a supercharger is available. With all the R&D Nissan did on the Syncro-rev match manual technology I doubt they would ditch it on the next generation Zed. Last edited by zigzagz94; 02-09-2015 at 10:09 PM. |

Oil changes are pretty regular. The usual Mobil 1 0w-40a and filter. Nothing crazy. The brakes will last you a good while depending on if you track. It's only when your out of warranty, mod the car (bolt ons are acceptable; no turbo upgrades, etc.), and drive it hard all the time is where it costs a lot. I've had my fair share of experiences with the GTR. It's a great car, but the Z is a different driving feel all together. Definitely two different cars.

Back on topic, I hope the really bring out something worth waiting for. Back in 09, I thought the upgrade to the VQ37 motors were pretty good, but I still don't get how come they haven't changed anything for 6 years straight in regards to the power train.

That said, I am excited to see something concrete from Nissan about the next generation Z

And Nissan would never rename the next line of Z's to its codename. Since Infiniti used to measure the displacement of the engine in their models using G37, G35, FX45, etc. That would give some buyers the impression that the Z had a 3.5 litre engine. They need a damn sun roof option, or at least a glass roof for the new Z. They also should design it like the S30, I know the Z34 has distinctions of the old Z (the windows mainly) but it would be cool to see bucket headlights again haha Oh, and a twin turbo!

I hate the Z33 and Z34 convertibles. just ruins the shape of that amazing body. now if you throw it back to the older Z's with the T-tops or a targa top then that would be sweet. still has that iconic shape but you can have a little sky as well.

t tops would be cool but I think i'd prefer the targa or like how the vette has the detachable roof and whatnot.

Yes sorry... Targa top > T-top. I would be happy with either one. I completely agree with you on the roadster models.
