That is arguable about drag racing.

In that case, neutral drops should be fine for them.

If your at the drag strip . Pull the brake fuse.
makes a big difference.
Just remember to put it back in when before you leave the track.

I keep VDC in first to control wheelspin on launch. Then release vdc in second so power doesn't cut while upshifting so aggressively. Vcd will cut power the second a bump throws off the balance of the Z. I can control that on the wheel without cutting power. Hence VDC off.
Beginner's question, how do you turn VDC on and off? Or am i miss-interpreting any terms here?

Lower dash left side of wheel. You can't miss it. Round button marked VDC and the unlit word "Off" under it till you hit VDC off..

Pulling the brake light fuse allows you to stomp the brake and rev it in the AT. Otherwise, it'll just cut you off at 13-1500 rpm and eff up your launch.

Thank you for the info about this. I just recently figured out how to launch it without pulling the fuse with my best time of 13.35 quarter mile. What kind of improvements did you see at the drag strip with your times with the fuse out and where is the brake fuse located?

I actually never tried it. Z eliminator is the pro at the 'strip, hopefully he will chime in on that soon. I can imagine it will improve your times noticeably, at the cost of your transmission.

I've never launched it in fear that rear dif bushings would explode. I heard they absolutely suck and they're a bitch to swap.
