Default Car Won't Start Even with a Jump

I have a tiny battery in the car now and this morning was pretty cold. Couldn't get the car to start even with a jump. Any ideas? I pulled the steering lock fuse a long time ago so that's not relevant I think. Here's a vid:

You don't have enough cranking amps. Try getting a jump from a truck or another vehicle will a larger alternator.

Lol, I just went through this with my Tacoma the other day. Alternator was shot, and the battery was so dead I couldn't even get a jump.

Has nothing to do with the steering lock. The engine is trying to turn over but obviously doesn't have enough juice from the battery. What do you mean you have a "tiny" battery in the car now?

*NVM, looks like you have an Odyssey battery. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe you are suppose to jump those.. My Odyssey battery only lasted 2 years. Once the car started to struggle during start up, I bought another one.

Happened to me once. Car won't start even after jump. Got a new battery and fixed the problem.

That Odyssey battery is great for starting a motorcycle, not so much for a big high compression V6. I would rate the PC680 as marginal at best for a car,it's the same battery I have in my BMW twin cylinder street bike.

You couldn't start it with a jump and the regular battery worked fine? That means 1 thing... You're not doing it right......

You need to have the "doner car" give it some gas! At idle the alternator isn't doing much.

I usually tell people not to do that because if it's a diesel, you're gonna screw things up

Clean the battery terminals. Corrosion will cause high resistance.

Check battery electrolyte levels and replenish with distilled water as needed. You will probably need to pull the cowl - see some of the steering lock DIYs.

Replace battery. If it's the original battery, it's about time for a new one.
