Mmmm!!! I may be a bit of a fat bird in comparison but when you tickle my right peddle and get that raw power/torque from a big NA V6 with damn stiff legs you know it's built for the game, not a high revving skinny tyre burner!!
Stand side by side in the flesh and get a public vote!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love Z xxx

There are only 3 or maybe 4 areas the FRS/BRZ beats the Z.
1. Price 2. MPG 3. backseat (if you need that, though it seems pretty unuseable) 4. This one is a matter of opinion but from reviews I've seen, it's suppose dot be more "fun" This is partially because you have skinny sport prius tires that always break loose. There is no way i comes anywhere close to beating the Z in any quantifiable performance category, though. So if you want to be faster, look better and have better track or drag times, the Z is superior. If you want to slide everywhere even at 35mph...the Toyobaru is for you.

I was at a traffic light with a blue BRZ next to me one day.. He was checking out my car and I was checking out his. The Z seemed more massive in every way; bigger tires/wheels, bigger curves, bigger hood, bigger exhaust and even seemed taller. I figured he would try something once the light turned green but as I accelerated normally he just whimpered along making sure not to pass me, guess the Z intimidated him.

I get odd ricer respect occasionally as well. There was a speeding weavy I don't remember what once. I saw him coming in my rearview, weaving and passing people. When he go to me, though, he wouldn't pass. It was almost like he thought if he tried I was going to hit the gas and blow him away. He eventually passed only when I came up behind a slow car. It's rare, but it happens once in a while.

Yes another brz / fr-s bashing thread I love it. One of my favorite things to do. First off I'll start by saying they are well balanced when you put proper tires on them. They are good looking as far as design. Now that that's out of the way. It has no ******* power at any rpm. The motors don't hold up to boost for **** they aren't reliable over long periods. The interior is cheap as hell. Then there is the identity crisis that I don't like. A mostly Toyota designed car with a Subaru boxer 4 and Toyota direct injection wtf. It is retarded and makes no sense.

I drove almost every sport and muscle car before I bought my Z including a BRZ limited. I could have lived with the interior and it handled really well. I didn't care for all the sliding around however. It badly needed a set of sticky tires. But I could never live with the power plant. Sure it was pretty fun to drive, but it was so slow... it would have gotten boring quick. I mean a Honda Civic makes 205 hp. It would be a whole different game if they made an STi version. That thing desperately needs a turbo... desperately.

I have to disagree I love the z interior the only thing I don't like is the gauge cluster, it is overly complex looking too Much **** going on. Also the arm rests suck awkward location .

As for the rest of the interior, it is actually quite good, none of those big oversized knobs that you see in some older American cars/brz/frs. But i admite that as awful as the BRZ/FRS interior is, they still have nicer gauge clusters as compared to the 370z. Just my opinion, your mileage may very. |

Very strange indeed, too much going on for sure but i also like elements of the setup. I wonder what the engineers of the next Z are cooking up in the interior department |

Something wonderful. I'm sure its going to be raw carbon fiber and full grain sacred cow leather hand stitched with silk of the finest quality everywhere. Also it's going to have Kevlar recaro buckets and billet aluminum knobs and buttons oh my.

I can say this. I'd never own the FR-S but I did see a yellow 2015 TRD edition and I fell in love with it. I kept staring at it while my Fj was being worked on. Wouldn't walk to see price tag because I'd never pay 30k++ for a 4 cylinder.

34k and no more power than a base one aside from exhaust perhaps. haha Toyota knows how to give people what they want.
