This break fade happens when? Do you track? If not,you got a lemon break wise. Either that,or you need to change your break fluid more often. These breaks are pretty decent on the sports package. Just have to maintain the maintainance!

Do autocross once in a while. Does it then and randomly if I'm driving like an *******. I have to replace my brake fluid anyways I'll see if that helps.

I don't think there have been any big changes in the drivetrain but I could be wrong.

The Navigation unit in the 2009 is something of an oddball.

The ESCL (steering lock) was deleted some time in the 2010 MY.

The hatch "button" springs on the earlier models are weak.

I'm sure I've missed a lot.

If I were to get another 370Z, I'd go with 2011 and up. YMMV

Nissan did fix the steering lock in later than '10 models, but it's still there. Whenever I start my baby, a 2011 model as you can tell by my signature, the steering 'unlocks'.

No issues that I hear from anyone beyond those two year models on that dreaded issue.

If you're driving like an ******* then it's not random. It's definitely not happening to you during normal everyday driving (for a normal person). Autocross? Yep, they're gonna get hot and fade if you don't switch the rotors to at least cross drilled or slotted rotors and/or change brake pads to help with fade (hot gas trapped between brake pad and rotor with no way to vent) and switch your brake fluid. You can even get the Stillen Brake Vent kit and install it, along with upgraded rotors, pads and brake fluid, then you can autocross and drive like a ******* all you want without brake fade. For us normal guys driving normally, even spirited every once in a while, brake fade is not an issue. These cars are not setup from the factory to take on tracks or autocross right off the showroom floor.

Oh, and speaking about driving like an ******* don't run your gas tank down to almost empty, then drive around right handed turns really really fast, then suffer fuel starvation, and then blame Nissan :bowrofl:. That just amazes me every time I see someone complaining about it! :icon18:
