When i first got my Z i noticed this...seems like the tank didn't want to fill all the way up...It started coming on after i made sure to almost overfill it at the pump.

I highly doubt that its burnt out...i think that its the gas pump not letting you fill up.

I read in another thread here that it is not individual LEDs, but a strip. The facing with "holes" punched in it makes it look like individual LEDs. Assuming this is factual, not sure why yours would not light up all the way to the right................. unless the mechanism for determining the amount of gas in the tank is stuck, or not reaching the top.
