If you must know, a 14 even, for comparison, a GT500 ran a 13.6, which was his best of 4 runs. Dude showed me a slip from florida and ran a 12.3, so I know it wasnt just me.
4000 ft elevation is worth almost 1/2 second added to your time compared to sea level. Here's a nice little calculator to punch in your main variables and see what effects they have.

thanks yeah, i've been using that, however, I think that had the track had a good patch of laid rubber, and kept the staging area clean of rocks/pebbles/debris, I would have hooked up alot sooner, posted a better 60, and a way better time. When you walk out onto the strip, you can litterally kick rocks, thats how bad it is.

I decided to do a good before and after dyno with every mod I add, Berk HFC's are pending purchase as we speak, and as soon as I get them I intend to dyno asap. Weird thing happened though, seems I made more power the hotter the engine became, strange. Also, seems as though he didnt take it to 7500rpms, probably could have made more power.

heres a pic of my sheet. Keep in mind, elevation is 4000 ft. ASL, was averaging about 90 degrees with a humidity of about 5%.

Not bad, 268whp and 240 ft./lbs at 4k ft.

Oh, heres a pic of me at the drags last sunday... guess the other car...

What times did the 240Z get? What set up was he running? That's pretty tubbed out....

its actually a 280, stock engine with full bolt ons. At least thats what he said, he was almost a full second behind me, but not bad nonetheless. Ohh, and take a wild guess who he bought it from?

That's one nice flat torque curve! Quick Q: what is the average drive train loss you guys are getting with the 370z manuals?

well I finally got to the dyno today after a week of driving with my new Berk HFC's, and I must say the gains are impressive, however I'm a bit pissed off because the tech there didnt set up the chart to read Torque numbers, that was what I was mainly concerned with. Keep in mind that I'm at exactly 4,080 ft. above sea level. Check page one for my base dyno. Anyone thats dyno'ed the Berks, what kind of TQ numbers should I expect, being that I didnt get any this time around...BTW, the first two runs were done in 3rd gear, which im guessing is why they read lower.

Dyno with Berk HFC's
from 267whp to 283whp.

I am wondering why dyno is always different with nissan's 332hp? And other company's car has always different dyno w/ their saying too?

it makes 332hp at the crank, the lower numbers are due to drivetrain loss, its an accurate measure of how much power you're putting to the ground.

seems like the first mod on these cars nets you the most gains... now do exhaust and i bet you dont see the full hp that FI claims, because they are always or seem to always be on otherwise stock cars.. or atleast i dont think so... this car just needs to be more free flowing obviously... Im not going to be able to do step by step dynos because test pipes and intakes are going in by tuesday and my car only has 500 miles . But hopefully you keep this habbit up for all of us !

yes sir, every mod I do to my car will have an after dyno so that everybody can see real gains, not just manufacturer claimed gains. G3's are next.

what saddens me is the torque. my dynojet reading was also 266ish ( I live in a warmer place/tropics) but the torque was just 220ish. it's too low. (mine is stock Nismo tho)

I still love it tho.
