Sad day....

There is a lady driving a VW Jetta and she rear ended me today. I was sitting in traffic and I also saw her stop COMPLETELY in my rear mirror. Once I looked forward she launched forward and hit me! She said, I slipped and step on the gas pedal ! Anyways, it has a few damage but maybe can't see it in the picture but I circled in red. The bumper got a little loose and makes squeaky noise when after the accident. I'm going to call a shop to have them inspect if there any damage that i can not see.

Well that sux but on the bright side it could have been a lot worse

Police report? Never leave without calling them. Here in Greenville they won't fill out a report if they think it's less than $1k in damage (don't get me started). BUT they will let both parties fill out a document and "witness" it I guess. It's enough to get the insurance companies involved.

Her car has no damage at all, which I'm surprised. I guess the Jetta is a strong darn car.

Same here, in WA state the police will not come out to a fender bender accident.

I did not file a police report. In Phoenix Arizona, there is no point doing it , unless is a major accident. The lady admitted it was her fault and willing to take responsibility.

Well crap... sorry to hear that. Glad you're OK and damage looks pretty minor. Google luck with the insurance thing.

daywalker 10-16-2014 11:58 AM

Sucks, but glad no one got hurt. GL w/ repairs

Not to hijack but here's how my day started. Cable company came to install the fiber line and never mentioned they needed to be near the car. They knocked over a full sheet of drywall onto the car snapping off the mirror and such.

I feel for ya... :owned:
