How far can you drive the car without the the keyfob?

This could be bad news. Imagine you drop your wife/girlfriend off at the shops and she happens to have the fob in her hand bag when you thought you had it in your pocket. You wouldn't think about it until you go to pick her up and you can't start the car. Imagine the row!

You should get a warning message in the dash telling you that there is no ikey in the car.

Wow, some of you are paranoid.

There is no way you will drive your car and not know your key is not on you, the car makes a loud beeping noise and there is a big key in the info center.
