What your wife or GF says when you drive?

I may be spoiling my daughter...she rides along with many of my car club folks during auto-x and loves the faster more exciting rides the best. personally I prefer driving

Now when she drives by herself she always has some story about how some "dumb f*ck", her words, tried to race her in something that clearly had no idea how fast my car is.

She did lean over me to yell out the window of my car one day the other week and ask a kid in a FRS if he knew a 08 Civic Si was faster than his car because he kept looking over and revving next at me.

He rolled his passenger side window up.

Or if she's on the phone she'll see I'm about to do something she needs to hold on for and will say to the caller "hold on he's about to do some nascar superman sh*t, got to put cell down" which I know is not remotely related to the car...but she's southern.

That's funny. Your wife sounds like a keeper!

I forgot to mention, my gal is a very aggressive driver and is first on the horn. I am not wild about drop of the hat horn driving at all.

LOL, man I hate folks that drive like that. If I get a nutjob around me doing all of that, I usually just ignore them, don't get over or move out of the way until I know where the law sites every day. It's nice to see them get tickets...LOL

Hanging out with a girl on Wednesday night. She said she wants me to pick her up in the 'neon blueberry racecar'. I'll report back her comments.

My wife seems to seek out holes in the road to exercise the suspension. So I tell her to stop that, and guess what, I get that same response. One of the reasons I am not really inclined to let her drive the Z. I will though, some day.

I took it easy since I don't want to scare people the first time they sit in the car. We're going out again on Wednesday. I might turn it up a notch. She really likes the car, though.

Guys, on a serious note I have some advice. I do not give "RIDES" or H E double hockey stick rides. Take it from someone who was once young and dumb. Doing donuts in a ditch at over 100 mph and going backwards over a culvert during the process with a passenger is not something I will ever do again. We were lucky, I only had a flat tire on the left rear because I lost the bead on the rim. All the other three intact tires had mucho grass between the tire bead and rim. I spent 2 of my nine lives that night. I wish I could say I learned my lesson that night but I would be lying. It took another year or so and some more unsound decisions to drive the point home. My best friend and I were talking about my younger/crazier self about 6 months ago. I will leave it at that.

this is why my rule is too only do "stupid" driving when alone. i dont endanger my passengers.

only time i can say this rule was bent was during runs on the dragon. even driving normal speeds on that road run a risk let alone when we start to push harder on it.

but i agree... i only drive like a jackass alone. i don't want to be responsible for my passenger's injury/death. other's on the road? F-IT!
