BMW E92 M3 or Nismo 370z Tech?
So, my lease is up SOON... Should I buy a CPO E92 m3 or a brand new Nismo 370z Tech?
I like REALLY like the M3 but expensive for repairs, 370z is beautiful and sexy BUT the interior looks kind of old, love the seat but not the plastics... M3 is faster but I love the way Nismo's sounds... So which one? |
3cpo?

:) Hah! Certified Pre-Owned
|
m3

E92 by a long shot no questions asked lpl

Cpo m3
|
Are you ok with a used sports car with 30K-50K miles on it?
If yes get the M3. Else get the Nismo. |
Mileage and year? Just because cpo doesn't mean crap. Me personally I would never buy a used bmw anymore. If you do get one, grt the warranty and don't let it end
|
Yep. Used BMW unreliability for near New Z pricing? That's a no brainer. Maybe if you were leasing a new one I might give it thought? Maybe?
|
what do you want out of a car? do you plan on modding it? i wouldn't drive a stock Nismo. it's not very pleasant. 50k is a lot for a Z too. for 50k you can get a twin turbo z that'd spank M5's if that's what you're about

Who here has owned/leased an E92 M3? Ok, tell us about the reliability.

M3 is a really good car, but like people said unless you get an extended warranty you might want to think twice...the person that leased the car new probably beat the crap out of it and didn't maintain it properly for two reasons: 1. expensive 2. lease, so who cares...gl with your choice

Now my problem is warranty 60k miles vs 100k miles, 40k miles is A LOT |
^get low mileage one then. I actually like the e92 M3 because it's NA v8. The styling is still relevant imo. The M4 might be unreliable with time.

Mind you the m3 is NA so it's a different beast. I'd definitely shy away from a used turbo BMW. Quote:

I still want a 370z but $45,000 for a nismo? The new gt mustang 5.0 is $38,0000 and the 370z cannot beat it In a straight line or out handle it stock for stock. Nismo is overpriced

do you plan on modding the car? if you do, Nissan is WAY WAY cheaper , and a far wider selection.
example 370z full exhaust 1500 tops...... m3.... 3600 to 4500 for full exhaust carbon fiber rear diffuser Z 800 , M 1400 if you plan on modding, the z is the way. you could always do both ;) https://41.media.tumblr.com/0d9deaa4...kwso1_1280.jpg |
BMW engineering sucks lately, i heard the m3 v8 engine has bearing's clearance problems(in general bmw bearings are like nissan suspension bushings its ok now but if u push it they will fail) which caused engine failure under load for long periods of time. Kinda like nissan without an oil cooler, but unlike bmw it costs less to repair and less to fix their fuckups. I say get the 370z + boost till 500 whp same price better performance and fun.
