depends lol
now with the Z06 specs i feel a C7 is pointless to buy lol but then for Z06 price i can get a 2014 GT-R which is still my goal. i had thoughts and plans on a GT-R this spring.......but now i got a fiance' and a wedding to save for. so yea GT-R or Vette are both on hold for a bit lol

I test drove the 7AT, the shift weren't smooth as when i shift manually, and the pedal seemed to have a pretty large deadzone compared to the manual. I knew beforehand that id go with a manual. But i was let down anyways by the paddles. Ive always thought they were cool.

While the 7AT certainly isn't hard to drive in manual mode if your In the wrong gear it will feel slow. The lag when in auto is usually the tranny shifting from 7th to say 2nd. It's definitely not a perfect design but once you get used to where the Z's power is and what gear is right for what you need it's great. Also in manual mode the shifts aren't meant to be smooth it's supposed to have quick aggressive shifts. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

I've had multiple occasions to drive a 7AT base Z. I'm more of a 6MT driver myself, but the paddles are definitely fun to play with, and that extra gear makes it nice with hwy driving.
