Camaro 1LE will rag tag mustang azz around the track. The Z is for people that like being one with the machine. Mustang are for people who like sitting on a machine and feel nothing but forward movement... Quickly. Z down on power? Lol. Only if you don't know how to manipulate the throttle. Ride with me... I guarantee you, you'll need a diaper. Lol.

I think the Z looks prettier than the C7. I'm not all about what goes faster. Odds are, I'll never go that fast. I'm more about what I look good in. Personally I love the Z's lines way more than the C7. That the C7 is becoming more and more common to see, makes me less enthusiastic about it.
I could afford a C7 or GT-R if I stopped indulging in a few of my extra hobbies, but I don't like how those cars look compared to a Z. Plus I sorta like those extra hobbies. |

Actually the Hellcat has really good numbers handling wise. If that's the only reason you don't like it I would do some more research... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

All mods aside, I mean pure stock off the showroom floor, if you figure $$$ per horsepower along with comparing handling, looks, snob factor, braking, gas mileage, etc. your going to find the Z at the higher end of each comparison. Now figure in the availability and costs of mods and the Z will be the winner. Sure, I'd like to have a Z06 Vette but it's a $100K gas hog that's no fun to drive legally.

So ... OP ... have you figured it out yet? We love our Z's.
You have just reached the break in point at 1200 miles. Have you really stretched it yet? Have you ever really stretched a Corvette? Are you interested in AutoX or Tracking? Both are performance cars. Late model Corvettes will go faster. Is that what you want? Are you going to use it? Most people on here have Z's because they look cool and have very good performance numbers. Is it the fastest car? NO. We don't care ... well some of us don't. Those who do mod the sh!t out of them with super/turbo chargers and then eat the Corvettes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Do you have that level of the mod bug? Or ... dare I say it ... are you just Cuz if so, you were very successful at that and you should buy a Corvette.

It's rare, quite fast, handles well, stops well, and it looks better then any car ok the road doing it IMO.

OP one of the first things you said..."I've been in love with the Vette"...go for it...I've known ppl who have owned Vetss for as long as I've been around and they don't smile as much as I do when I look at my Z and can't speak from experience but in time with all the fiber glass thngs beging to loosen up and the squeaks start. I turn off my radio and hear nothing but the engine which is music to my ears and yes I'm in love with my Z, just don't tell my wife
