My understanding is that the Venom is a stretched Exige. They just had to make it longer to fit a massive engine.
The Evora is totally different than the Exige. It weighs over 3000lbs, has back seats, and is powered by a V6 that makes around the same power as a Z. I personally don't see the point.

At the end of the track day how many Corvette guys will brag about passing a six cylinder 370Z? None. The Z on the other hand is the underdog in the fight. If it wins or does as well then which car was the better purchase?

I hate to go off topic but I need to mention quality. I work for a worldwide elevator co. Here in the US we made a major change and fumbled the ball, instead of apologizing to the customers and do a recall we had a meeting and basically said that it was not a safety issue so when things broke we would fix them.
Our counter parts in Japan made a mistake Once and we sat thru hours of teleconferencing watching every one from the plant manager, engineer, manufacturing personnel to the secretary who sent out the manuals apologize and bow their heads to us...a day later to receive a retrofit unit to be sent out to repair the flaw in the field which was replacing the metric to standard hardware...my point is that as a country we (look at GM) really are not following the motto "Quality is #1"...but quantity is, sad but true and this applies to all the transportation, manufacturing and any business that has CEO's that love their big bonuses... enough said...carry on Z vs Vett Last edited by HEK; 09-26-2014 at 07:00 PM. |

Go with the Vette. High school jackoffs are picking up used 09s for dirt cheap and slamming, hellaflushing, woot woot muffler-ing them. Look around the forum for proof. Me? I'll be the bald, middle-aged fvck driving a C7 in a couple years.

Luckily, in New Orleans I don't see a 370z often at all. Infact I may see one every 2 days. I have yet to see Nismo 370 down here, I heard they're a few but I've never seen them.

^ Nice! But if I was going to get a C7, I think I would go all out and get the Z06!
