Prolly not enough to justify going to e85 without going forced induction honestly, even on my 5.0 mustang it was just changing injectors and tune for about $250 and it wasn't worth the maybe 5whp and drastic loss in mpg. I went from 20mpg to 14mpg by switching, and if u have the vin I can check to see if it has a salvage title I work for nissan

I was wondering how would u know if the Z has sports package for the 2014 model?
Is it by the rims and having syncro rev match? Or can u get an option of not having the sport package but get the 19 rays wheels and the red brake calipers? From the pics I saw it seems to have the sport package because the the 19 rays wheels and the red calipers. Also how can u tell if its a base +sport or touring + sport for the 2014 model?

13 and 14 have the drl lights on them pretty much the only difference cosmetically and the diff rim shape although they are basically the same rim, and its interior trim options like leather/suede, nav, u can get base+sports package so cloth seats and 19"rims and red calipers

I finally did it!
The 2014 has LED's on the front bumper. If the synchro rev button is there then it has the sport package.

It sounds like you should have done some more research about the car, and years, in general before you made your purchase. Just my opinion of course.
Hope it all works out in your favor.

It was an auction and there was so much info when I bought it yesterday.
The auction was going on within an hr. Plus it was a 2014 model. And yes it was an impulse buy LOL. But my buddy said that if for what ever reason I didn't want it he would buy it off of me. I was surprised of what he said. Plus he was looking into buying one as well. But I'm being hopeful

I also read that the touring has heated seats, auto head lights(I assume the head lights turn automatically when it gets dark).
And it said it revised the steering wheel? Is it the shape or something? Also is limited slip dif standard? Quote:

I'm curious to know about the E85 question as well. It doesn't take a full tank of E85 to reap the benefits of the increased octane rating. With as little of a 25% E85 content in a regular fillup provides an imense benefit in tunability and knock count reduction. I'm not sure if any tuners have played with that option (partial tank of E85), but I'm not sure of the benefits on an NA motor. My previous experience was with a Mazdaspeed 3, and the amount of timing you could add because of the "E-blend" was pretty amazing.
So if anyone with knowledge of tuning these motors, or any NA motor for that matter, is an increase of a few degrees of timing a big power increase for us? |
