At first, I thought you got one, and wanted to congratulate you.

But then I was like...

Shotta 09-19-2014 06:23 PM

Looks good minus the stick on fender lips.

Aviator44 09-19-2014 07:12 PM

It's official. I'm buying that bumper.

kenchan 09-19-2014 07:14 PM

That wheel is so sunken in..:(

The fender arches make it look worse.

DOOMMONKEY777 09-19-2014 08:21 PM

The only thing i like about this new look is the fender add-on which disperses the rain water way.

Front bumper looks like it creates more drag than any other bumper.

I'd love to own it, but I'm too tall do live with a Z for a DD. I've got the grown- ups version(G37 coupe) of your car. My wife saw the Nismo when she was leaving for lunch, and sent me that pic. The new owners busted her taking pics of it. LOL She said it looked real good in person.

That's the exact same thing I thought too.

Z-Girl 12 09-19-2014 08:51 PM

Fender lips are ewwwww, need wheel spacers and the bumper is 50/50.

Benibiker 09-19-2014 10:33 PM

Beautiful!

MC 09-19-2014 11:13 PM

I think the darker red bumper accents really clash with the body color red.

that would really bother me for some reason. the fender lips dont really bother me as its a call back to the NISMO Z 380 RS. but with that said it wouldnt hurt if the offset was a little more aggressive as the fender extensions sort of highlight that issue

Yup, they should have changed the trim color for the Solid Red model. Still a lovely vehicle, and I can probably use the photo when I specify the colors for my new bumper!

grandpawmoses 09-20-2014 11:17 AM

I agree about the wheel well trim. It would have to go.

Pie 09-20-2014 11:18 AM

Nice!

occarclub 09-20-2014 12:44 PM

Add some wheel spacers and it would look golden. OR better yet, wider rims and wider tires! If it had 305's it'd be golden.

Codename067 09-20-2014 04:26 PM

Besides a couple minor complaints cosmetically, that sh!t is looking HOT!

murphman 09-20-2014 06:26 PM

are those rock chips on the front of the hood already?

SlowRollin 09-20-2014 07:05 PM

Maybe it's the angle, but where are the lovely hips? I love how mine has a backend reminiscent of a 911.

I don't recall this fender condoms being on the pre-release models of the 2015 NIsmo. I'm betting they got added on to stop the paint from chipping around the wheel wells, and everyone in here bitching about it. I bet they easily come off as they must be a plastic add-on and not actually part of the fenders or body.

They were there during the previews and they are add-ons, thankfully.

Arrvaxx 09-20-2014 08:34 PM

Like it so much better in red than white.

DCNISMO 09-21-2014 08:30 AM

I would just take them off…..

Therdee 09-22-2014 12:39 AM

You should forward him / her some of these pictures and stress that if they cannot get you one, maybe another dealer would be willing to put in the effort.

The euro spec Nismo already had the wheel arch lips for previous model years.

I've been watching the online inventory search sites, and notice the cars are selling fairly quick. Three of four I was eyeing for a dealer exchange, ended up being sold before the call could be made. The fourth dealer declined to do an exchange, as he's confident it will be sold locally.

That being said... probably less than 50 of these cars have hit US shores so far. The large shipment flood has yet to happen. However the car IS in production. My factory ordered car got it's VIN and is somewhere between the US and Japan.

That dealer didn't even bother trying to look. It's in the Nissan system for order and allocations are being given/traded by dealerships across the country.

Therdee 09-22-2014 12:26 PM

yup sent them that pic,, -_- .. its pretty hard when you go to the dealer and you look young,, -_-

Judging from your avatar you're in the military, that dealer should have jumped through hoops to get you the car you want. Thank you for your service and find a dealership that deserves your business.

Rooskey 10-04-2014 01:07 AM

It looks as if the engineers took the previous year nismo and cut everything off of it that made it a nismo, and called this one the new version. It comes to mind that everyone likes this model because it looks similar to the base models? Nismo is becoming a joke due to Nissan offering it on most of their models, especially out of the states.
