i used to do it in my old car, a 00 honda accord and wasnt sure if i could or should do it in my Z

Try Reving it in Neutral and then put in Rev, back up, Give it more gas then Drive a little and watch what happens! You wont like it at all!

from a stand still tap your accelerator to see where the threshold of your torque converter is.
then left foot brake, add throttle (build RPM to that threshold), and let off brake, mash gas. that's how you launch AT's. dont hold the throttle too long as your torque converter will heat up. |

Of course you can rev your car in N then drop her into D, just like you can jump off a cliff, I mean no one will stop you, but both will do serious damage
