Irrelevent post. Crashing a car and thinking about neutral-dropping are two different things. Besides...that Enzo had already been wrecked and it was crashed again on purpose as a publicity-stunt.

I was wondering why the guy behind the barrier wasn't reacting. He just stands there with his arms crossed...knowing that it'll happen.

the reason we are making it a facepalm thread is because you launch a 80k mile honda by revving then throwing it into drive.

thats like...huge chips of metal breaking off in the transmission every time you do that. horrible!

80k miles is low.

"N" bombs are awesome for your tranny. redline it, hold your foot down and chuck it into drive. The more you do it the faster your car gets.

any other ridiculous questions to get out while we are at it?

i know it was a dumb question. i was hoping the tranny on the accord would eventually brake so i could swap in a 6speed from an acura.

Uh I think that almost covers it. You can neutral drop it if you want lots of experience replacing everything from the main bearings back. Look up a "stall converter" on google. There should be some information on using your stall speed and how to achieve it. Torque converters have a set speed at which they will create enough resistance to hold the engine rpm if they are not allowed to express the energy through the transmission(or stall). This is not an exact number. You can buy or have a stall converter designed to hold at 2500 RPM but your actual numbers will depend on how much torque your making and how fast it hits the stall.
You need to find out and then practice how much throttle you can put in with out breaking the tires loose. Than really practice giving that really fast. Working your way up to it will actually cause it to stall at a lower RPM. You want to be able to punch it to that RPM while holding the brakes as fast as possible without going over to the point of breaking the tires loose.
Considering this is a fully electronic trans. a "trans. brake"(look it up) should be a rather simple install.

^ Careful, some kids are more mature than others and some adults are rather immature. I do agree though that the price point puts it within reach of a younger, more immature and irresponsible market.

Of course you can. Just be prepared for when Nissan voids your warranty due to abuse and stupididty. Go for it and report back here to tell us how many times it took to blow the tranny so we can get a gauge of how durable the tranny is. Looking forward to hearing from you and your adventures.
