If it is 1/4 mile run I take the Trans-Am. She runs low 11's in the 1/4 :tiphat:

Tundra for my DD. Carries a lot of people and stuff. But mostly we use the wifeys Honda Pilot.

Istill do not get it..

People say they do not want to get it dirty, they keep it in the garage and look at it rather than drive in the rain????

Its like saying they do not want to see their love except when she is dressed up gorgeous and looks great all the time. So what if its dirty or gets dirty, you can wash it off when you get time.
'
Unless you just enjoy it for the looks and not for the driving, you should drive it all the time.

Think of her feelings!!!! Its like telling your wife she cannot leave the house unless she is dressed good and cannot go out if its windy because it may muss up her hair. Stab home!!! I do not want you to go out because it is drizzling or dusty out!!

solution: i wash mine typically 3 times a week.

i drive her everyday and she's still the prettiest girl in the room.

except when i go to cars and coffee. all lambos and ferraris plus a veyron from time to time. but she's still my #1 girl :tiphat:

:bowrofl:

I don't know about you, but I don't let my wife out of the house unless she is dressed to the nines :icon17:

I don't like driving the Z in traffic. Thankfully I can be flexible with when I go to and leave from work to avoid traffic. My wife gave up the Z to me after over a year of DD because she got a new job with a terrible commute. Driving 45-60 min in stop and go traffic on big hills twice a day is not fun regardless of the car you're driving.

Whatever happened to "to each their own"?

More like no use for the T/A. Back in the day i just loved her but honestly I lot my passion for going quick in a straight line. She will be up for sale soon.

I live in the country we we have a lot of twisty windy road. I will think of an excuse to take the 370z out. Like 2 days ago I was looking for something to eat but really wanted blueberry pancakes. Well IHOP is only 40 mins away. Punch up shortest route in the GPS and weeeeee I'm driving! http://hyves-smileys.immerblei.com/i...ey_driving.gif

I don't get why people do not use the 370z as a DD car if they do not have to carry others. It's like marrying a beautiful woman and restricting yourself from making love to just the weekends. It's crazy.

The engine is a stout engine, the car is a joy to drive and I use it every time I need to go anywhere.

Other than weather conditions, you should drive it whenever. I find it hard to understand locking it up and storing in winter either because at least in the Midwest, there are some cold but good clear sunny days and the roads are not wet. I drive it except when there is ice and snow and then in use my wife's Prius.

I cannot imagine driving less than 12k miles a year and yet claiming you love he car. To me, it is disrespect to the Z.

So you are saying that if I drive the car all summer and early fall, and then put it in the garage for the winter to protect the car I love from the elements, I am disrespecting the car?

How does one restrict oneself from making love? At first I thought duct tape, but then thought the bondage fans might get excited by that, sabotaging efforts to be celibate. Then I wondered about self-induced coma. But that seems impractical, as most of us have to work during the week, not to mention that a similar practice didn't turn out so well for Michael Jackson.

The answer seems to be that such restrictions are not plausible. I'm pretty sure Mr. Peabody would tell Sherman to engage freely in sexual and mileage hedonism. So that's my plan.

kenchan 08-27-2014 10:02 AM

but professordave your sig says:

Rain, snow, sleet, hail: 2009 Mazda 3 sGT HB
Everything else: 2009 370z, PW Touring 6MT

kooko 08-27-2014 10:03 AM

I don't DD my Z, because I don't want her to be love tapped, dinged, get all banged up cuz other people dont know how to control themselves.

Always good to say hi to JARblue. :hello:

Whatever happened to "to each their own"? The news is full of, Believe as I do or your are a _________ (fill in blank). Very sad actually.

I hate traffic, and stop and go is the worst. I avoid this (like bad sex).

I like the OP's DD sex analogy, but apparently, as I drive my DD less than 12K per year, I arrive at the destination too quickly. :rofl2:

cooltoy 08-27-2014 10:06 AM

Driving the Z in winter with all the stupid drivers that do not know how to, is like sending your wife to a gang bang.

kenchan 08-27-2014 10:06 AM

i dont dd my z cause mine melts in the rain...

this thread is stupid.
