Default Questions about 370z

I'm a noob so if this is in the wrong place, please don't flame me too bad.
I'm heavily considering getting a 370z but I have a few questions that the dealer probably would be biased on. First, reliability, back on '04 I bought an RX-8 under the premise that Mazdas were good cars and that thing has been one headache after another. Two members of my family have '09 Nissans but haven't had them long enough for any problems to show. So whats the reliability like with a Nissan?
Second, what's the insurance like on these things? I'm a 24 year old male with a clean driving record but at the same time I DON'T have a wife and kids. It was that bad on my Mazda because the on the title it was classified as a four door.
Any comments, answers, or whatever are welcome! Thanks guys!

Nissan is crazy reliable, don't sweat it.

As for insurance, take a look at what some members are getting in this thread

An RX-8 is whole other monster with that funky engine. I've had 3 350zs and other than going in for recalls, they never left me stranded. So I'm willing to bet the 370z is just as good or better!

I had considered the RX-8 before I looked into my Z. They reliability ratings on the RX sucks. Has for years. Their resale goes down hill in a hurry because of the engines. They are cool looking and fun to drive, but from all I have heard and seen they are not very fun to own.

I have to agree. Nissan's record speak for itself a very dependable brand the resale also reflect that. you won't have any major issues.

I took a look at the RX8, but one story about cold restart problems ended my interest.

I don't have a ton of miles on my 370 yet but I have put plenty on my Titan and it has been insanely reliable, the overall quality of a Nissan shows through every time you step foot in one. They are great vehicles with excellent engines, I would never hesitate to buy something with the Nissan burger on the front.
