This was, at some point, a skid plate (so a flat piece of sheet metal).

And yes, the big red sticker says "FRAGILE, do not bend"

I think the shipper should've also packaged it better to prevent this from happening.

Packed it better? Its metal and marked fragile. The driver had to try to do this. Def not the shippers fault
