Upgraded horn

I don't have an upgraded horn in my 370z, but use Hella Dual tone in my 240Z's. It makes them sound like Volvos.

I do have a "Honk if You're Horny" bumper sticker on the 370 though.

You may be right. but I swear between the people I was honking at not reacting to it at all and the fact that I can barely hear it either when I'm sitting in the cabin (music playing, exhaust going) I don't think it's good enough.

Another car with music on and windows up, particularly a sedan with noise isolating material, simply can't hear our horn and won't even know anybody is there.

Must be something new they're teaching in driver's school. Used to be those merging onto the highway were supposed to match the speed of highway traffic AND adjust their speed to merge safely, either speeding up or slowing down. That happens around here as well. Especially the last minute merging maneuver that many drivers pull. And god forbid those bastards don't make it into the lane; they usually straight up block the lane they're stuck in because they refuse to budge until they get their way. So people behind them are scrambling to get from 60+ mph to 0 within the next 40ft or so.

But the 3 times this happened to me this weekend were during cruising speed. Once at 11pm when the highway was actually mostly open.

PM me and I'll give you the number of one of my ex's. She was the kind of person that would stick her head out the window to make sure you heard her screaming at you! She'd make a great horn if zip tied to the bumper. Nice thing about her is that you wouldn't even have to press the horn...she'd take care of everything.
