I may still take a look at it - I'm not a track guy, so the Base doesn't bother me too much - do I REALLY care about some of the other Touring options that will be missing? (bluetooth, heated seats, etc?)

Thanks again!
in other words................ BUSTED.

now they're covering their tracks.

glad to hear another potential Z'er knowing and gaining the necessary knowledge to ask specific questions and getting to the bottom of it.

if you don't do your homework, these places WILL take advantage of you.

they thought they could jack the price up , someone wouldn't do their homework, and they'd get away with more money.

I say again..... BUSTED now they are running for the hills , " oh we made a mistake " hahahahahahaha

Watch the top open from outside the car and ensure it clears the deck lid without rubbing. If it does then run. It will look like the actuators are not operating properly however for me it was that the convertible top frame was bent and will cost 12,000 to replace.
The top has a habit of tearing down the vinyl lining in its cubby hole. If u buy it repurchase all the clips that hold the lining in place and additionally superglue the lip of the lining to keep it from falling forward. This will prevent the top from catching the lining lip when it opens. I think that was the reason my top frame was bent from repeatedly tearing down the lining. Luckily i caught it under 3yr warranty.

idk... the heated seats keep my butt warm, i don't think i could live without that.

in all seriousness the lack of those features may not matter to you, but what is important is that you know what this car is now so you don't overpay and get taken advantage of by shady dealerships.
