Carbon Fiber Overlays
 

Has anyone thought about putting CF overlay on their cars? I was thinking of trying this out. I recently got this rock chip on my side fenders and the looks of it just bothers me. I was looking for alternative way to hide it or get rid of it. I saw this CF overlay for our cars or any cars actually.

According to them it's REAL CF... And they actually sell sheets of it. Has anyone tried them? Maybe give some pointers on how to use it too hehe...

so what are trying to put the carbon fiber sheets on? the whole fender or just certain parts...

I'm probably going to do the whole fender. Since I got dinged there. It should match up with the CF hood also. Rather than spending a fortune for new fender or PURE CF product. I kind a hate putting CF stuff outside my car (like side skirts and what not) because I had CF lip before and I actually broke them in half hitting something on the fwy.

Well.... I'm not really looking to cover the whole front fender. I'm actually talking about the side fender. (driver and passenger) ... I've seen some cars with CF fenders. Looks pretty neat.

lol alright alright... how about the emblems for the car. CF emblems...

theres a new member here suppose to be mocking up some z emblems to replace the nissan ones...

not sure what finishes hes doing although i think brushed metal will be one hopefully...

maybe ask him if he can do cf too...

LOL CF overlays are like lambo doors and LED strip lights / Halos / Angel eyes... its just way too played out... and you will get a lot of hate on this site as we have more function > form folks than the other way around...

Now if we were talking CF replacements...

Sure, there's a whole section of the forum dedicated to internal and external modifications, with vendors (who apparently thought about the potential profit to be had by those who thought about doing it) announcing products all the time.
