2012 versus 2013 model year differences

I'm considering a used 370Z and was hoping to learn the differences between the 2012 and 2013 model years other than the few cosmetic changes. I know the front bumper was changed a bit, but otherwise, were there any differences?

Also, when is the new Z due out?

Thanks!

No differences. If youre looking for a Z I would say try finding a 09 base and modding it yourself. If you spend the $ you saved from buying a 09 vs a new 2014 on mods you'll make half the people here drool.

:iagree: Same car, just a face lift. Get a 2011 though. Apparently some of the more prevalent issues were corrected by then.

12 on up have a factory water based oil cooler. Earlier models don't have that. Also just an FYI, never buy first model year cars from a new gen release.

Deff get a sport, syncro mesh and lsd w/better breaks. Forget about the base.

I think it was mostly cosmetic (LEDs, front bumper, rear fox reflector, red calipers, black plate around the fuel gauge area, and a few others).

Besides looks, the 13 has Euro tuned suspension......thus my Z is faster than everyone's :ugh:

Fangs, different breaks? (painted red?) and euro tuned suspension. I would say the cheapest with lowest km.

Thanks everyone. Looking forward to getting my Z!
