Sponsorship advice

I am considering becoming sponsored and was wondering if anyone could lend me some insight on their experiences good or bad. Any input would be helpful thanks

You need to be active in any field you're looking to get sponsored in. Shake hands with the guys that are sponsored. And lots of luck and patience.

Discuss and understand all your obligations fully. Some sponsors are great some not so much. The few I have picked up over the years varied by a big margin. Sometimes a 400-500 dollar part isnt worth the time and effort they may require of you. On the flip side once you pick up one, you can add that to your resume and usually pick up more. I am yet to score a big hit with a wheel or FI sponsor though maybe one day!

Oh and if it is some car sponsor type web site dont waste your time. Also I read this as you may already have an offer so congrats, if not good luck!
