Loss of power is normal in heat, however I don't think your driving is if you get your oil up to 240 in 101 heat with 7AT. I have to give mine a pretty good spankin' to get it to 240 in that same heat.

I don't have this problem. The Stillen G3 intake and Stillen lightweight crank pulley did wonders for throttle and engine response. The other day it was 105F in Northridge and I didn't have any problems.
