Best year Z34
Guys we have a great car that's now 7 years in the making. I'd like to hear everyone's honest opinions on their favorite year of the 370z. I have a '12 Nismo, but I do regret not waiting for the '13 because of the added Bose system and the great looking wheels with red calipers to compliment. Earlier models also missed out on alcantara stearing wheels and DRLs if you're into those kinds of things. Let's hear it y'all!

Pretty much all the same to me except for mechanical issues for various years. I guess if your not into modding the car than the items you listed might make one year a preference over another. For me I hate the DRL's they added, the calipers can be powder coated to any color under the sun, most agree that an aftermarket stereo in better than anything from the factory.
No changes to performance, suspension, brakes, etc, through the years, most were cosmetic and ya either liked em or ya didn't, that's my opinion. |

Anything than the first year in my opinion. I never buy first model cars due to potentials issues.
I remember the 2003 350z with tire problems, Window streaks, rattles, etc. 2004.5 fixed all those issues

I had a 2004 350. Man, those tires growled like crazy. I was happy when they did the recall and gave me a brand new set of new tires though. It is crazy how much nicer my 2011 370 is! It is like a whole new level of sports car by comparison. |

2015 Nismo!
Nissan really differentiated the new one from the rest of the pack with more than just body work.

That's so true, the 370 is far way more refined than its predecessor. I miss my 350z stock sound Note though.

I have a 09 ordered it when it first came out but didn't get it till oct if '10. If I would have done anything I would have gotten a 10 for the newer nav screen and bt functions. Other then that my only mechanical issue was the slave cylinder recall that went out about 6k my steering wheel lock never happened. I don't like the drl no fang look they did later.
So for me I would say if you like the nav like me then 10-12'

I'm a sucker for 2013, only because dat magma red Nismo. The only thing I want from another model year is tha alcantara steering wheel and thats cheaper than paint.
