But if you're clever you shouldn't have to buy the z bracket and just screw your plates directly into the black part.

There is a second page to your attachment where it mention to drill about 2" holes to the bumper itself, which some of the stupid stealership will do...:mad::mad:

can't you just mount it to the black grill? or would that get in the way of the radiator?

Texas law states front plate must be visible and on the front bumper I believe, but cannot find the exact law/rule currently. Most cops/officers view windshield as a viable solution as long it is 100% visible.

Sweet i might change to that setup then. All the civics of team high rev have it on their windshields. Made the front look much cleaner

Yes they do, and I can tell you why.
Not sure if she was there but Kim who owns a red sedan Si got two tickets within one or two weeks, so they all opted to start putting them there. Also, the second ticket was given when she was on her way to buy suction cups to mount it.

You can find cheap suction cups at wal-mart or walgreens and use all 4, will keep it from rattling or making noise.

I've seen a lot of people get some felt padding with a sticky back and go around the bottom edge of the LP. Then suction the top (2) mounting holes and you're set.

Haha that blows. Yeah Kim has the one with the cf hood right? I think it was getting photographed by the main tent. If I ever remember to get the suction cups i might.

theDreamer 01-28-2010 05:00 PM

Yeah, I think she has a CF hood now.
I always have been told to do all 4 Vipor, but I am sure there are other ways to do it.

I'd rather get a ticket for having no front plate than risk running a red light camera with a front plate. Think about it. How often do you get pulled over and get a ticket for not having a front license plate? probably once a year.

How often do i run a red-light camera? Almost every week. Not intentionally but just bad timing. :happydance:

I would have to get 10 no front plate tickets to equal one red-light running. Still worth it not to have no front plate.
