Your doesnt look like the protech ones that you linked from website. On your one the base is lipped.

I have a Protech one and it's black. Actually two of them. Mine are the smaller one. I cut about 1" off of one of them since the pinch weld slots are about that much too deep, just to make it easier to slide under the car. I don't use it on the Z, but I've used it on a lot of other cars and they work great.

Yeah I actually bought both, kept the 10071006 as 1006 1007 did not fit over my jack or into the recess like I thought it might. What I do is place it into the pinch weld then bring the jack to it, instead up trying to slide it under the car on the jack. They work great & mine is a Protech.

So basically I need to get the 1007 version correct? I really do not understand inches let alone the two different model numbers below. I merely would like to raise my car a little via the front pinch weld without scuffing them.

1006 - Side lift to fit inside 4 5/8" or larger
1007 - Side lift to fit Outside 2 7/8" to 3 1/4"

These pictures show it best. Sorry I read the wrong invoice apparently & it looks like I have the 1006 according to these pics.

As you can see the 1007 is designed to sit over the jack pad while the 1006 is made to sit on top of the jack pad. the size of your jack pad will determine which is best for your application. See pics below that show the bottom of the item
