Thanks trips, but thats not exactly what im hoping to find.

The difference between the ones you linked and the one Im talking about in the OP is:

1. It cannot go UNDER the car (way too low for that)
2. It mustnt be facing downward and flip up to reveal itself - it needs to merely slide up and down (into the upper part of the bumper).

I'm almost positive given the similarity of those two videos that it was a ready-made sold-by-vendor setup, and not a custom made mechanism. It looks like both guys got it from the same place.

Hopefully someone has some info on this

Can't it be mounted up side down so it flips up inside the bumper instead of under the bumper?

Thank You cooltoy for the suggestion.

My work blocks most pictures, so I could not see it in the DYI.

Why not get the Stillen license plate adapter that goes on the towhook? You can easily remove it for shows and put it back on for the street.

I am pretty sure it is the one on Amazon. If you look at the video with the blue Amuse, the remote control is the same as the one in the Amazon kit.

I don't think there would be as many issues with this kt as described by the people on Amazon, as it wil be hidden in the bumper and more protected. You just have to prevent the plate from flipping over, and insure it only travels up and down. Block the flip motion.

Thank you for the insight. This seems to be it.
