Yeah, the VQ isn't a lightweight. Going by the rumors, it doesn't seem like the next Z will have one. I would love an all new aluminum 3.0TT. Just my preference, but I'd rather a factory turbo than an NA v8. Oh how I dream

go read the article from last night on yahoo motor authority.
there may not even be a new Z based on the one nissan VP saying they are only running 2 sports cars. one obviously is the GT-R. the other however may be the IDX now. the general feel of what was said seemed to be like they are trying to create a new platform for a mix of the IDX and Z. it's weird.
