the current Q60 you see rolling around is a refreshed version of the G37 coupe just with a different badge to match with the rest of infiniti's line-up....the actual q60 coupe that is going to be based off of the Q50 sedan is a couple years away from production so in essence the Q60 coupe you see rolling around now is NOT a Q60

Are there official specs for the actual Q60? That might reveal the most info about the next Z. On a related note anyone seen this? http://www.gencoupe.com/general-disc...s-coupe-3.html That sure reminds me of the Esflow concept.

Nissan need a hit aggressive design. Use a v6 turbo zmd keep the weight under 3000 pounds and they may have a winning combo

I know for the new Supra they will be using the BMW carbon fiber chassis to reduce weight it's too bad Nissan couldn't get on this boat and do this for the Z along with the carbon fiber drive shaft

Guys have anybody heard about the new Honda civic spec R?(i believe that's the right name) it has 2.0L turbo from factory, and making 275 hp to a light weight body, that V-tech is gonna kick in better than ever trying to catch up to Z, mustang, and genesis.
What u guys think about that?

Not quite just weight savings...
Yes,they still have cast iron parts in that suspension and they can easily reduce weight by swapping to aluminum There are no carbon fiber parts added on a Genesis Coupe. so that is another option. Hyundai also needs to learn how to tune ECU's for true sport performance & needs to source beefier transmissions for hard work at the limits.. Genesis coupes are fast but they don't feel like a sports car fast, they feel Altima 3.5SR fast. which is sporty but not sports car sporty. the Genesis Coupe is a good platform but needs a lot of refinement in terms of true sports car nature. The Z may be "rough and tumble" but it drives like a proper sports car from every aspect. We'll see what the next gencoupe brings.

Couldnt have been said any better.
RWD for the win. THat civic will probably priced almost as high as a z or the new frs which will have better power and be just as lightweight but be rwd. That car is every boy ricers dream.
