Don't get why some are so peeved at anything negative about korean products.

They just dont get it.. Korea just does not have the history, track record or experience in consumer products when compared with the US, Japan or Europe. Sorry but its a fact.

And no...Im not anti korean.. My brother in law is korean, he's from san jose but he's still korean. ;)

According to ride lust and edmunds.com.

Toyota WILL be producing a RWD CELICA GT AND GT-4.
These cars will be 2+2 coupe and 3door hatch config.

The N/A GT will get a 2.0ltr 220 hp engine with a weight of 2,866lbs.
The GT-4 will be a turbo or twin turbo of the same engine pushing 300-320hp and possibly an 8,000rpm redline. This car will be under under 3klbs as well.
TT just changes the high end torque loss issue n this car might be a beast?
To make it hurt even more... photos look like it will be a quality ride starting under $20k
Looks like even the genesis coupe is gonna need a refresh soon or its bargain potential will fall thru the floor...
Lastly, toyota back in the day had a rep for true sports cars in 2+2 form.
It might come to the u.s.a. as a toyota or subaru or both but it looks like it may be coming for sure.
What u guys think? Comp for the Z or no?

Can't see something like this coming in under $20k.. And if it does come in at that price, you can be sure there is going to be some major cost cutting.

So no I dont think its going to compete with the Z.

And isn't the 2.0T a detuned 4B11?

Same Engine as new Lancer Ralliart/Evo X?? - RWDCoupe.com - Hyundai Genesis Coupe Owners Club

I am not specifically talking about genesis coupe. I am just saying that Hyundai's first engine to make it to Wards top 10 was this year and it was the 4.6 V8 that is in genesis sedan. Is 2.0T a detuned 4B11? I don't care because Mitsubishi is another maker that's having a hard time being anywhere near Ward's top 10. Going fast is one thing, strap a rocket engine on there and it will go but it needs to go fast to 200k miles.
