Are these tires any good? Hercules Raptis Wr1's

So when I bought my Z they had to put a new set of rear tires on her in order to Nissan CPO her.
They put on a tire called Hercules Raptis WR1's.
So i've been noticing that when I take a sharp corner at moderate rate of speed (not high speed) they will lose traction and the traction light lights up my dash.

They now have about 300 miles on them....
Do sport tires need time to "break in"? If so, how long? Or do these tires just suck?

thanks in advance!

I've never heard of the tires so can't speak to their quality but likely pretty poor. I doubt they would give you max performance tires if they can help it.

Tires often have mold release and other release agents to ease them out of the molds so it's possible you're sliding around on those. They burn off after a few hundred miles.

There is a break-in for tires. However, your tires "suck" as you put it.

Take heed of this:

Onzedge™ Tire Tip Number 1: Never cut corners on tires and always buy the best. They are all that exixts between you and the road.

I would never use a tire called "Rapist" :wtf2:

Do yourself a favor and replace all four tires with a matching set of not-crappy tires.

Hercule's Tires are not a top of the line tire as compared to say a Michelin. If you drive like a granny, you'll be ok but they probably won't last.

PSS are fantastic.

I am using S04s right now and think they are great as well. If you don't feel like spending on PSS they are a very good choice.

PSS are the way to go, unless you go with the S04, which are also quite good.
