Passport Max with Smart Cord Live
Finally got the chance to test out the Passport Max yesterday driving from dfw to Flagstaff. All I can say I is HOLY SH!T THAT THING'S SWEET. This is my first detector so I may be a bit ignorant on the technology, but I was picking up laser from almost 2 miles away.
The blutooth live cord (if you don't have one, do yourself a favor and spend the $100) and phone app is amazing. Only gripe is the setup with the remote mounted on the 12V plug. I did a bit of soldering and rewiring and mounted the remote above my visor for a real discreet look and easy access. I got a bit comfy wit it and opened the throttle up. 975 miles in 11hrs 15min, and that included running at 50 for an hour thru rain and road traffic. 1,000 miles down and 4,000 to go on my road trip. Grand canyon south rim this morning and Vegas this evening. 20140630_164758.jpg 20140630_165504.jpg |
