Nissan Alcoa wheels, who has them?!?!?!
Yes mods, I know, wrong section, gimme a day? Pretty please?
Anyways, I bought a set, noticed they were a bit heavier than stock (2-3lbs each) so I decided not to put them on... BUT I noticed that they are REALLY wide. Fronts measure 10", rear 11" BUT they're stamped 9.0 and 10.0 I thought maybe I was measuring them wrong... BUT my Nismo wheel measure a hair under 9.5/10.5" Anyone with these wheels care to chime in? Rim width is measured from inside the bead lip to inside, not the outside of the rim to outside, so 9" and 10" is correct.
If anyone has been telling you different, they've been telling you porkie pies - Tyre and Rim Assoc standards doco has all details In your 11" photo, you can see that rim bead lip is ~0.5" - so rears will be 10". RB |
But by that logic, the Nismo wheels would be narrower then specified.

And hey, Alcoa's wheels are as strong as, of not stronger than Volks. |
