Hey everyone,
Here's a thread where you post a picture or update or story or info on what you did to your Z today. All the replies must be on topic here. There are some member who want to keep a "on topic" thread on this topic and don't want to scroll though a lot of unrelated replies. If you're one of members, you are more than welcome to participate in this thread. However, if you want to carry on the same topic with other stuff , please post in this thread: http://www.the370z.com/lounge-off-to...ay-thread.html

I'll start this thread off with this:

Finally washed my Z after 5 months and 27 days!

I got one of those too but with a red base. I really like it. Heavier & shorter than stock. That along with some MT85 and my gear changes are noticeably better.

Been a busy week! Got my F.I. HFC's ordered (only 4 weeks out)...washed, waxed, then hid her in the shade. Anyone know where to find some LED visor bulbs? PM me so we can stay on topic :-)

Monday the 30th I expect to be on the track at Sears Point so this weekend is about all the other things. Slot cars and the little lady.

Yep, I also have some test pipes to install which will wake it up a little more.

 that's good. not everyone wants a loud exhaust so i was just wondering. :D

Mt Tam I am 06-20-2014 11:15 AM

I am liking louder as I grow older. Just the opposite of what I'd expect.

I rode in a Z with test pipes and stock exhaust it sounds a lot nicer with test pipes.

Plus my own Z has high flow cats and nismo h pipes and sounds much better than stock.

Makes sense, loss of hearing in your old age.

So funny. It does make sense.

I just find it great fun when the Mustang guy tells me how good the car sounds around some turn or another asking if I have an eight cylinder. Never happened in any other Z. Long live CBE.

Not at all. Loud like NASCAR is not in my future either.

Modified the Moweraxle.com front plate tow-hook bracket to get it centered on the bumper.

Wanted to satisfy the Texas front plate requirement, but hated the off-center tow-hook plate brackets. :shakes head:

Removed the black trim cover that exposes the tow-hook attachment hole. Attached an aluminum bar (painted black to hide piece) with a wall anchor through the drilled hole and through tow-hook hole. Drilled 24mm hole through tow-hook mounting stud behind plate bracket. Attached two 22mm washers on either side of aluminum bar. Secured aluminum bar to tow hook stud with 24mm hex bolt. Tied back and secured plate bracket with two industrial strength zip ties to keep plate from any fore/aft movement. Fixed two clear self-adhesive rubber chair pads between plate bracket and black bumper trim.
