I just want a warm weekend that doesn't involve rain. Car desperately needs a wash clay wax job.

Same. We are having some mass flooding now. Non stop rain the pat 6 days. Sunny today, but with a high of 45F. Currently 35 out. I can't stand CNY any longer...
Poor freaking Z has been on jack stands since last Tuesday. Figured I'd have a spare hour to put the bumper back on with the front lip without it raining.... Nope. Waste of money this year it seems to even put it back on the road.

Did you remove the undershroud to retrieve it? It's almost guaranteed to have fallen on top of it.

Well, if it wasn't on the undershroud, it's possible it might still be wedged in the engine bay somewhere, if you didn't already dislodge it. I'd be tempted to take a closer look with a flashlight and have a telescoping magnetic tool handy for retrieval. Or easy enough to replace it.
