I wired up my DRLs without starting a fire. (and saw the lack of steering lock fuse) Not a convenient fuse box if on side of road (& in the rain with my luck) And since it wasn't dirty enough to wash I did the inside and took apart my seat and stuffed a small lumbar memory foam pillow in it so I don't have to play with it every time I get in the car, an air bladder adjustable one would fit in there nicely. And my unrelated sailboat building pic, I melted 20#s of lead to hold my rudder down. |

DRL Question
I really like the idea of having the drl's on with the headlights. DO the DRLs stay on (after this mod) when the headlights or turned off?
Oh, and I've done the melting lead for the rudder , for a dinghy I built. Stinks, toxic? But we do it. Cheers Last edited by TexasChuck; 11-19-2015 at 07:02 PM. Reason: Duh? |

me no smart enuff to figure this out on own, I followed the above DIY! I was able to pry the DRL plug apart but still pulled the wire out leaving the pin in on the tan wire so just cut the red one (the counter stopped with one second before the warhead went off!) I'll not be going back to DRLs off so no worries. They are on whenever car is running, headlights on/off independently by switch as before. I already had 30% film over the DRLs to go with my blacked out theme so that they won't be too bright at night. |

What I was doing with prior Z 6/4/15! (Was scrolling thru my pics and saw this) It's pretty obvious that I am a master of wise decision making. more oldies, after a day at Sebring with too aggressive pads ( NO wear on the pad at all!) (sorry for the thread drift, just sitting on couch cuddling pugs, waffles and coffee) A kayak I made, aerodynamically tested to 65 mph! |
