Took the long way to grab something at the store and was followed by this sweet looking vert with the Nismo lip kit. I don't think he is on the forum. I also saw a Mcclaren 12c spider, Bentley GT coupe, and a new GT3 porche. Then I arrived home and finished the ride with a quick detail.

changed my cabin filter today finally.

2012 with 6320 miles.

many thanks to this forum for the DIY which helped me get rid of that disgusting smell upon opening the A/C

PS - on a sad note though, I did end up breaking the tab to the cabin filter though

First post in here.

Got a new 2014 sport 6mt, on this day exactly a month ago. 1800 miles on her as of this morning.

Washed, waxed, fairladyZ badged, and stillen oil cap installed yesterday. Drove it properly to work this morning.

I have RE-11's on it now. That said I bought them used with the wheels (Volk TE 37 SL) They are a couple years old and may not be as sticky as they were new. They do far better than the stock RE-050 though.

Grassroots Motorsports did a test with RE-11 as the base against both the RE-71R and the Dunlop Direzza ZII Star Spec

Both were better than the RE-11. They thought the RE-71R may have trouble on heavier cars during track days. I don't do track days but have been active in autox this year. Everyone I have talked to at the autox events has said the RE-71R is great and far better than the RE-11. Wear is going to be a problem if you daily drive it. I will not. I have two sets of rims and will put Michelin PSS on the driving rims.

Hope that helps.

Edit: An error ... The ZII Star Spec was actually third on the list for autox. They matched the BF Goodrich g-Force Rival S up near the top with the RE-71R.

I would be interested to hear any comparisons (now or in the future) you might have in regards to tread wear between the RE-11 and RE-71R
