PSA message

Please avoid trailer hitches left in the middle lanes of a freeway in rush hour or this will happen

I now will have to order a replacement part for about $200

And end up with a dinged resonator.

All because someone was too fukin careless to ensure they wouldn't loose the hitch off the back of their truck.

Thank You whom ever you are.

I hope you're a$$ runs over a long spike and it empales the oil pan.

End of PSA.

Anybody want to give me a hand in deciding whether to go for springs or coils.

I only plan on lowering my car and inch 1.2 inches at MAX.

some say...go with coils since the springs are built to perform with the shocks. Suspension can fail after a while from the use of aftermarket springs etc. yada yada yada.

Took it on a date... Picked up my date and got about a mile down and my clutch pedal went limp, Literally just drops to the floor. Was able to get it to a parking lot of a hotel...

So I had to get it towed 60 miles back home... I'm glad I still have "AAA".

It's either the Clutch master cylinder or slave cylinder, Just hit 31K miles too... Hopefully carmax's 100K miles warranty (that I paid $1500 for) doesn't put up too much of a fight and I'm only out the $300 deductible.

Suuuure the clutch just happened to go out in front of the hotel after you picked up your date.

That really sucks and hope they dont give you any grief. Time to get the upgraded CSC?

I think the warranty would only cover OEM parts... From what I'm reading on "maxcare" (carmax's aftermarket warranty) they like to give you the run around. so the phone tag begins tomorrow

Sucks G. Sorry 'bout that. It could have been worse. I've driven around an 8 foot roll of carpet and a ladder in the last month. Getting dangerous out here in CA fwys.
