P_20160701_211732.jpg After an eternitity of cleaning, I noticed a gouge in the bumper (stupid rock-throwing trucks!). It was officially plasti-dip time. P_20160705_135624_1.jpg P_20160705_135639_1.jpg Thanks to this forum for all the awesome tips and tricks!

Went for another visit to see how things were progressing.
Skirts were being test fitted. There were some questions of how to deal with the area being shown with the finger. Some people have put screws/bolts there to hold it down. My shop built up the whole in behind, made it flat and will attach it with 3M tape.

They also built a bracket for the license plate lights/camera/trunk button assembly. They took a piece of CF they had left over from a GTR, built in some bolt holes to hold it all together. Very solid.
They will attach the bolt clips to the CF to hold the license plate. Something like this.

I may have given up a little prematurely, but I'm ready to the Z again. Today she got her first ride on a tow truck, as I had her dropped off at Austin Z Clinic.

FWIW, the tow was interesting. No mishaps, thankfully

New master, new slave, new pedal ... it's all pretty easy. Not sure why I'm having problems. The frustrating part is the delays and not having the time. Subconsciously, I may be doing it on purpose to bolster my argument for another daily driver

Got the Z back a couple hours ago. Kevin said the slave cylinder install and bleeding went fine. He had to adjust the linkage on the slave cylinder. Essentially 2 hours of labor. I drove it home and reinstalled front bumper, fender lining, splash guard, and strut tower brace so I could drive it to work.
After it was warmed up, I noticed some slight grinding noise with the clutch pedal fully depressed. The bottom of the engagement was up an 1" or so from fully depressed, so it's not a problem to avoid fully depressing the pedal. I have to bleed the brakes anyway, so I'll probably make a small adjustment to the linkage while the car is up and see if that fixes things.

Fuckin hell ... ran over an 8"x8" chunk of concrete on the highway today
It dented my 2 month old ZSpeed undershroud, took a few chunks out of the subframe, cracked the LH catalytic converter, nicked up the rear W support and rear sway bar, bashed the fuel tank, and cracked my LH carbon fiber FI exhaust can
