SPL front upper control arms installed.

Switched out the oem top hats and pillow mounts from stock shocks to kw coilovers.

Thanks, compressing the springs to remove the top hats has been the hardest part so far.

That's definitely something that I am grateful I didn't have to do when swapping in my Stance coilovers. I attempted to do springs on my first 370 and it was a nightmare. Putting these coils in was so much easier. Just pull the old assembly out and put the new one in.

I'm not going to get into arguments over quality. I just know that I will be happy if I never see another DIY spring compressor.

the trick here is to crack loose the shaft nut while the strut is still on the car.

That's what I did... One might say that I had the wrong tools for the job. I couldn't compress the new springs far enough to get them mounted onto the shocks. I ended up having to take them to a shop for that part.

Took me about 1hr 20min to remove the two springs from the shocks, no air tools.
