I dunno?...KITT (the original Trans Am) could supposedly hit 300 mph top speed. The GT-R could give KITT a run for his money.

Kitt: Michael, Michael, hurry hit the turbo boost!
Michael: hold on buddy! that GT-R ain't gonna beat us.
Kitt: according to my calculations, the GT-R's trap speed is rapidly approaching 125 mph, at a low 11-sec elapsed time, and 1/4 mile distance...there is no possible way we can beat it without engaging turbo boost.

Pssh, turbo boost my ***. The only way you are getting an 82' Trans Am to do 300mph+ would be to push it off the top of a tall cliff...or maybe launch it off the deck of an aircraft carrier.

All that aside, I can see what they were going for with that look, but I am not a fan. Just a bit too ridiculous looking, like they asked someone's 12 year old kid to draw something and they ran with it.

I agree with Jordo, lets get with the program on the next Z.
