My '08 350 made the noise as well as my '13. It is normal, albeit slightly annoying. Honestly the only time that I notice it now is when in drive through.

I just searched for this same thing. I discovered My '13 nismo makes the clattering noise at idle...depress the clutch and it's gone. Glad I'm not the only one! Only found out as my wife was helping me test for leaks in my new exhaust...guess I'd never been outside the car with it idle since I bought it.

First time I've been back to this thread, OP, I wasn't calling you stupid and I didn't mean to bash. It was more a post who saw my thread that I started to help people with questions that they thought were stupid, and/or easy questions where everyone could just get a simple easy answer without getting trolled... Nissan's in general have a bad rep for mechanical noise. I don't think I've watched or read a single review on a GT-R that didn't mention all the weird mechanical noises. I think my 370 has the loudest throw-out bearing noise I have heard. But the only time I notice it is when I'm idling through a parking lot in first gear with the clutch pedal out. It used to really bug me but I'm used to it now. Luckily I don't idle much through parking lots and as soon as I get on the gas I hear the sweet sound of my Berk exhaust.
