unused indicator lights. what do they do?

There are 4 indicator lights in the dashboard that do not appear to be functional and are not mentioned in the user's manual. Anyone know what they do? And why are they in the car if they don't actually do anything? Here they are:

1. Inside the tachometer, there is what appears to be an indicator in the lower left side of the circle. Hard to say what it is but it looks kinda like smoke or something.

2. In the circle of indicator lights around the fuel/coolant temp cluster, on the lower right is what appears to be a car with some kind of hatch open. What is that? Does it have something to do with the convertible top operation?

3. Still in the same cluster, but this time near the top of the circle, just to the left of the indicator at the top of the circle, there is what appears to be another car with what appears to be a hood or rear hatch open.

4. Also in the same cluster, at the very bottom left end, is the word "snow". Is this supposed to be an indicator for some kind of snow mode or something?

None of these lights are operational, nor do they seem to be related to any function in the car. And I couldn't find any reference to them in the user manual.

Some unlit lights are for some options to be fitted for others markets, nothing to worry about..

I'm not worried. But I am really curious about them and what they could be for. Especially since they look quite weird and not easily intuitive.

These could be there for new options on future year models. Designing some expandability into the gauge faceplate is smart so Nissan can reuse parts later on down the road as new features become available. Maybe someday we'll have a glass cockpit where all the displays are user configurable. It would have the ultimate flexibility since its all software controlled. Imagine being able to choose different skins for your dash layout. Coolness if you ask me.

I'm guessing one of the car-like indicators, probably the one on the bottom right side, could possible be an indicator for operation or malfunction of the convertible top. At least it looks vaguely like a car with its top being retracted.

now cars makers are more clever, even Mercedes, for example, now all cars not fitted with the options are using 'blank' switch,in the older days, when i drive an old 1981 Mercedes W126 380SEL,even buying a piece of wood panel will have a tough time, because there are so many versions of it[about 12 types]...so stocking it wil be very troublesome...

I am concerned only when the light comes on.
