Digital MPH readout??

Just wondering if its possible to get a digital readout of your mph while driving? I know that scrolling through the information area you can get temp, mpg, etc.

No, the 350Z could do it, but they killed that feature for some reason with the 370Z.

They discovered people are capable of reading the large analog gauge in the main cluster just fine :).

LOL......

You could always add a Scangauge as one of the selectable readings is MPH...
though I find other stuff more important..

I don't care for the digital gauges.Whats in the Z seems to fit the real sports car theme real nice.Just my opinion!

This argument takes back when the Z31 had digital MPH and when the new 300ZX came out they reversed the speedometer to analog.

I have a digital read out on my Double Din aftermarket install.

I like it......

My Cayman S had a digital speedometer and I liked it especially for setting the cruise control during highway driving. Wish the 370Z speedometer maxed out at 160 instead of 180 seeing that top end on the Z is around 157. That would make the detail a little larger and easier to read accurately. Anyone over 40 who uses those cheap drug store reading glasses will understand what I'm talking about. :)

On my 350Z, I don't hardly ever use my analog speedo. It's just easier to glance at the digital. I wish they carried over this feature for the 370Z

yup

that digital odometer on the 350Z wasn't accurate...mine was always off by 1 mile or 2...however, my Eclipse navi has a digital odometer, and it's dead-on accurate...

I never found a use for two speedos, but that's just me. I never used the digital in my 350... although a lot of people liked using it for some reason.

Just out of curiosity for the people with a 350z digital speedometer, does it cycle through the number like one after a another (49,50,51,52,53) or does it jump (49, 52, 53) like on a s2000 speedometer?

I hope you understand what i mean?

That depends on how fast you are accelerating.
