I think its fair that someone who doesn't share the same hobby (or obsession) not have the same eye for detail that the enthusiast does. I had an ex GF

I think its fair that someone who doesn't share the same hobby (or obsession) not have the same eye for detail that the enthusiast does.
I had an ex GF that was into shoes. (Lots of shoes) So despite the fact that she had an entire closet full of foot wear, I do not remember anything specific (ie length of the heel, whether or not they had open toes, or even what color they were) despite the fact that I lived with her for years and saw her wearing them every day. For some reason the only thing I actually paid attention to were the FMBs.
