Stand behind your car and push down on the hatch.

Is there give? When I push down the hatchback part will go down half a I ch and then pop up when I let go. Is this normal? Is is why when I go over a bump, or. Speed bump I hear a thump?

Solution ?

you may need to take it to the dealer for an adjustment

What your pushing down on is the cushion to seal the hatch. That's not your issue. try getting a passenger to pay attention of were it's coming from there might be something loose either something you have in the back or something from the factory is loose. I don't have any rattles or thumps happening.

better yet, have someone (small) lay in the back and see if it pops up or if anything's loose.

Will do thank you

^I agree :icon14:

Didn't the Roloffs get canceled because the kids said a bunch of really racist stuff, and got preemptively shut down?

Oh well.

Regarding the Hatch issue, its probably something that the dealership should check out.

It wouldn't have anything related with the stuck hatch lift spring issue would it?
